Stoneware studio · Södermalm

Pots for everyday use, thrown one at a time.

A small ceramics studio on Södermalm in Stockholm. We make functional stoneware — cups, bowls, jugs and plates — glazed in quiet colours and fired for a home that is actually used.

What we make

Three everyday ranges

Each range is thrown in small seasonal batches. Because every piece is made by hand, no two are identical — the glaze pools a little differently on each.

Vardag

Cups · bowls · plates

Our everyday table range in a soft oatmeal glaze. Dishwasher-safe stoneware meant to be stacked, dropped and used daily.

Skärgård

Jugs · serving bowls

Larger serving pieces in a speckled grey-blue, named for the Stockholm archipelago the colour is borrowed from.

Ritual

Tea & coffee

Small cups, pourers and a stacking tea set in a deep tenmoku brown, thrown thin and balanced in the hand.

The studio

Wheel-thrown, wood-shelved, slow

Everything leaves the studio having been thrown, trimmed, glazed and fired by the same pair of hands. We do not cast, and we do not wholesale.

The shelves hold whatever is ready. When a glaze batch runs out it rests until the next firing, so what you see in the studio in spring is rarely what you will find in autumn.
